The development of new energy vehicles is the only way for China to move to an automobile power country. It is a strategic measure to deal with climate change and promote green development. Zhang Yuli and collaborators have carried out a series of innovative work in operation mode, model method and algorithm design in view of the bottleneck problems restricting the development of Electric-Vehicle Battery Swapping Services. The results promote the development of the analysis theory of random queuing system and provide new decision tools for site selection and inventory management. The platform of the National Monitoring and Management Center of New energy Vehicles and the taxi operation data computing results show that with the gradual promotion of electric taxi, the mode of "centralized charging and decentralized power changing" can reduce the daily operation cost and the number of batteries by more than 30%, which has a good application prospect. The research is funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (71871023,72271029,72061127001).
